Default How to remove rear interior trim under the glass?

I have chased buzzing noises to the rear interior trim under the glass. But I'm not sure what is the correct way remove the trim. Can anyone help? I'm trying to avoid removing everything in the back.
I've done searches and googled on the subject without success. And It's for a 2010 GT3.
Thanks!

The following thread is about a 996TT, but was a great help finding and fixing rattles hidden behind the headliner in my 07 GT3.

Thank you for the info. Mine sounds like it's coming from the very back. Some what of light metal buzzing sound, like a metal button not clicked in rattling against each other. It started right after I unplugged exhaust controller and installed sharkwerks center exhaust bypass. :-) My hand tapping has led me to the rear glass window trim. I would like to see what's behind it.

Default My recollection is you pull straight back toward front of car

The panel is attached to what look like springed "C" shaped clamps. Pull evenly. Don't pull one side out first or you'll trash the C shaped clamps on the other side. To attach, the panel just snaps into the clamps. Even pull (push) is the key.

I finally managed to pull the trim piece off.

I used trim tools to pull the bottom edge first. There is no fastener along the bottom edge.

This is what was holding the trim.

Under side of the trim.
I will do a test drive without the trim to confirm my guess.

It appears the metal clips were rattling and creating buzzing noises. Does anyone have any good trick to install them so they don't rattle anymore?

Use felt tape on any metal to metal contact with clip & body

If that’s the culprit for the rattle than the felt tape will definitely work. The more padding the better which makes less movement.
I think I’ll do that with my car too at the same time when I put in my roll bar to avoid any future possible rattles back there
