When I was researching an RS for purchase I was shocked at how many 991 GT3 RS videos were available on YouTube. I found a couple of good Evo and Chris Harris videos reviewing the 997 but the rest all featured 991s with a kid in his teens/20s saying "CHECK OUT MY NEW GT3 RS!".
I have no idea what the prices will be over time, but I’d bet 997.2 RS value will surpass 991.1 RS by the end of the year. ...
...
The value for these cars will definitely go up. It’s just a matter of when. My guess is when people take a step back and have a chance to experience RS’s from both 991 and 997 platforms, and anticipate at what’s to come for the 992. That’s when we will see a clear delineation of two separate eras ending at 997.

The last part of your prediction RSA, is SPOT ON.

There is so much 'over-production' of the GT cars that it is truly inevitable, but with the actual sales data being next to impossible to come by, it will take longer for this market shift to become abundantly clear.
