Exhaust tips different colors
the inside of the exhaust tips on my 997.1/3 always seem to be colors. different shades of black would better describe it. The passenger side tip is always black while the driver side is a lighter shade of gray.
I have a gmg center bypass and it has an equalization tube so I would think they would let out the same exhaust.
What would cause this? Maybe 1-3 bank is running lean? O2 sensor? I don't have any cel lights.

I had the same condition on my 997.1 RS with Sharkwerks center bypass. I had the ECU values checked (fuel delivery levels?), and they were in spec both sides. I guess it is just normal with center bypass exhausts?

There is another thread on this, started 7/3/15 by gt380. Various sources referenced in that thread say this is normal. Interestingly, from the posts and photos it seems that the blacker side is always the passenger side.
