Have done same trip and I am glad to see that I am not alone in making impulsive purchase decisions and road trips. Showing this thread to wifey as proof.
Congrats - great looking car. If you’re in Vancouver let us Canuckle-heads know. I think we are super car capital of world now.

Thanks ilko!
Yea, thats my fault. I forgot to switch the plates while driving down. Definitely got some stares from people in LA when they saw the plate.
Efcharisto para poly! Apo pou eisai? Dont judge me. Too lazy to do the greek font. Surprised how many Greeks are on reenlist now.
Thanks Brandon! If you ever get the chance, please do this drive. You won't be disappointed.
Thank you! Yea, having that much seat down in the RS made me appreciate all the nuances it has over the regular GT3. All the differences combined truly makes it a special car.
Yea, it anything I hope people do this drive more often. I think Big Sur gets more attention because its in between LA and SF, but if anyone can, I highly recommend driving north from SF. Its just absolutely special.
Dude, I know I know. The day after I got into Santa Monica, all the fires happened. I felt so dumb reaching out to meet up with the air quality being bad and the hysteria from the fires. Im like, "he's going to think Im the biggest *******." I was going to ask if you wanted to do the ACH with me. Plus I wanted to see your cars. Im an idiot.
Oh thats 100%. I had never been to Asheville and when I finally went all I had was a rental. The drives up there in the Blueridge were stunning. I want to bring the 964 there for sure. Would be such an epic ride. Ill definitely reach out when I go.
You've already planted that seed. Its inevitable. I can't forget those Norcal drives.
It was actually just a iPhone X. Then just played with the photos on Camera + app.
Absolutely 100%. I'll be in touch with Carlo and will come back for it. Thanks for the heads up btw!

Awesome trip! Completely agree with you about not following schedules / itineraries. Great pic about making the cop's day passing 3 cars!
I did a similar trip from Seattle to SF many years ago in a rental Mustang. We even added some off-road portions in the Mustang following dirt roads that looked curvaceous on the GPS. Wouldn't do that part again if I were taking my own GT3!

You can count on me to make irresponsible decisions. lol
Thanks Jon! I was thinking of blacking out the gold bits but the white gold is growing on me.
Yea, being in the car for over 2500 miles really made me notice every difference over the regular GT3. It was the perfect decision like you said.
Absolutely! I dont find a lot of enthusiasts around here. But then again I hardly go to cars and coffee. We definitely have to meet up.
Im an idiot. Think I am gonna ship 964 over there in Spring. Get new gearing in the tranny. Perfect excuse to ship it there and enjoy.
Haha, Yea, there were definitely some "oh crap that's not a paved road" moments. I think I might take your idea when I do it again. Rent a convertible mustang so I can enjoy the scenery more.
Thanks man! But Im not happy.... I wish I could leave it there and just visit and drive. Those cliffs and scenery were amazing.
