There is this weird vibe going around with respect to number of previous owners as we are talking about some ***** who has been sleeping around. High end cars tend to have many owners that does not necessarily mean the car was not treated well.

Sure, go try to command the same premium and negate the number of owners - sorry, but 1-2 owner car is at a premium over a 6, 7, 8 owner car. If everything else checks out and the car is clean and perfect, but has 8 owners - you cant change the fact that there are still unknowns and that does have a price.

What unknowns would that be? That makes no sense. One owner could beat the **** out of a car, or 7 different owners could drive the car to cars and coffee once a month and never hit redline.

Outside of Uber low mileage collector cars, it doesn't matter to most.

That's a nicely optioned GT3! Buckets, PCCB, adaptive headlights + creature comforts... I'd be seriously looking at it if I were in the market. And peel off the stickers once in my garage

I am the 5th owner of my car, extensive inspection revealed that the car is stellar, unlike the 2 owner car I checked out before.

Number of owners does impact price; that is not debatable. It's nowhere near the top of list for drivers of price but a 1-owner similar condition car will be worth more than a 5-owner. Condition trumps ownership but ownership still adds or subtracts between two cars, all else being equal.

As a side note, it's never been that big of a driver for my buying decisions.
