Yeah you do. I like Friday getaway track days. Maybe this is the test & tune day for the car.

Sounds like fun. I’d do it if I have time for a secondary oil cooler and tranny cooler install in the garage. Might have to test the capabilities of the 958 D and see what I’ve been missing driving to events.

You should be OK w/o, it's not that warm.

BTW, on my 964, under hard driving the secondary cooler dropped temps from about 9 o'clock down to 7, basically at or below the first single bar. Very effective.

What trans cooler did you get?

Yeah, last 90 degree day I was around 7 with the stocker on enduro length times. I might mess with the fan and put it on high purposely. I’m not easy on the car by the way and the 3.6 has been lightly massaged..... Exa Mini is the pump (was going to machine for the GT3, but I spent it on factory sport synchro sets and a shorter box from Rader). The gearbox kit is from Patrick. The Oil Cooler is also Patrick’s. Fun setup, but not cheap.

We'd be lucky to get in to the 70's in Dec.

Agreed, Dec/Jan has some nice chilly mornings where personal bets can be had.

Agreed. Temps are wonderful for both the tarmac/tire relationship and engine/intake. I'll see what happens.

Bill Rader did a heck of a job getting my box sorted before Rennsport. Real solid guy who loves the Spyder Program.

Time to see if your Thanksgiving ballast weight has thrown out the corner balance.

Less than two week to go!
