Default Halo Seat fitment

For those of you that have relegated your cars to track duty, was curious what halo seat you have and were there any issues with mounting it with all the carpet or interior trim still in place.

I have hans pro xl and non xl and p1300 in street cars

1. if u think i have blind spot then u should stop driving. I can back it into space with 1” on either side sitting in the halo seat

2. if u cannot mount the seat in ur car u have the wrong tech. I call tony at TCDb and he does magic. I pay and don’t ask questions bc his answer to anything is NO.

Or you can always look at a Sparco Ergo seat; removable "HALO"

The sparco evo is too small for me. The only Hans seat that fits me so far that I have tried is the p1300. The Recaro Hans XL looks like im ripping the seat apart. In this case, doesnt pay to be an athlete and gym rat. I'm built like a linebacker

I'm kinda sketched out by halo seats if you can't remove the steering wheel to exit the vehicle in the event of an emergency. I like the removable halo parts though!

i have recaro pro racer which has the halo. i found that halo seats in general are very aggressive in terms of bolsters and seating position (low and tight) in a street car even if you never drive it on the streets. i dont recommend that you use these types of seats with the stock steering wheel, its hard to get a good driving position. either go with a less aggressive "racing" seat (likely won't have halo) or go all the way and get the steering wheel, quick release, etc, etc
