Shout out to Gert at Carnewal!
Once again, a long overdue "Thank you Gert" post. This guy knows all. From 911 to GT3, we are lucky to have a thoughtful gear head on our side. Gert, thanks for taking care of me and all my needs over the years.
You are a great asset to this community and a real gentleman!

Hey guys, I just received my Carnewal "PSE Manual Control" unit from Gert.
It did not come with instructions, and I can't seem to find a online PDF on his website.
I have found a suitable ground spot on the frame (vacuum solenoid side of engine, over inside near right fender rear quarter panel), and I am "kinda" certain that it is the long wire that Gert has coming out of his box (I will need to put my own end-connector on & ensure I have good metal contact).
And of course there is the plastic connector (3-wires) supplied with the Canrewal unit that snaps into the factory vacuum solenoid.
But there is also another very short wire coming out of the plastic connector, which already has a small steel male-end blade connector on the end of it. What is this for? Where does it connect into?
And finally, since the box itself does not have any tabs with holes or anything to secure it in the engine bay,.. what have you guys done to mount it somewhere. Just simply Zip Tie it to some other wire inside the right rear quarter panel and let it hang in there??
Thanks in advance!!

That short wire is the antenna-
To secure the box, use double sided VHB tape from any parts store. U put the ground on the right torx bolt that holds the bumper cover on, make sure the wire does make a good ground. That area where the torx screw goes in needs to make a good ground and paint doesn't conduct-once installed, you can try the remote and hear it activating-
Also, careful with the connector when you disconnect and connect the new one, don't want to lose that wire spring clip. I lost mine, and Gert had to graciously mail me a new one-so thanks again Gert
Search for other posts and you can see pics, I'm sure I posted some when I installed it-

* Lay the box on the flat surface right next to the air filter box, use vhb double sided tape or a zip tie-
Also, I took the little chain off the remote and I leave it in the storage hole just ahead of the gear shifter.
US cars can't program the garage door option like rest of the world unfortunately

The antenna is easy to identify & it comes directly off the main box. I am talking about the other short wire with a blade connector already installed on it.
Let me try again, this time with a picture....
