997.1 GT3 can the wing be removed

Hello new to the Forum and not a P Car owner yet (searching). Can the rear wing on a 997.1 GT3 be removed and replaced with something smaller?

The wing blade itself can be removed.
If you want to install a smaller wing blade, you can. Will have to be aftermarket/ custom made.

You can swap the decklid with one from a regular Carrera but the spoiler won't function. The wiring isn't there.

There was an older thread with a ducktail fashioned to the back of a GT3 - was pretty cool if you don't like the wing.
