SF Bay Area: Need exhaust tips
any Bay Area RLers have some exhaust tips i can buy/borrow?
One of mine decided to show why Titanium isn't necessarily the best choice by falling off while driving to work this morning. The Ti had cracked around where the tip attaches to the plate part.
Have some Shark Werks tips on order (thank Alex for the email convo today!), but they are currently out of stock and may be 2-3 weeks to get them.

cool! the regular 997 ones would be more than fine!
just not sure if i can get up to Livermore before saturday...
though might be good excuse to drive Mines Rd to avoid traffic.
will you be back in town next week?

Don't blame the material, blame the fab...
I have a set of tips but in SoCal... if you don't come up with anything PM me.

not sure which tips these are as they were on the car when i bought it.
i'll see if there are any markings in them when i remove.
and to be fair, car has just over 40k miles now, so these likely had a lot of miles on them.

finally got the Shark Werks 88mm tips for the car and popped them on this weekend.
Thanks to FLT6SPD for letting me borrow some stock tips for longer than I expected.
And thanks to the Shark Werks crew for making these nice tips that go well with the Shark Werks center section.

haha. i actually quite liked the titanium ones that were on the car when I bought it. the way they blued over time looked nice with the Aqua paint. just wasn't willing to pay $1500 for the Porsche Ti exhaust tips and wasn't sure of quality of the Power Agency ones that seemed to pop up in all my searches.
