Default template wanted

is there anybody out here with a 997 gt3rs that could make me a template of the wing uprights? just a paper outline would be fine

Do you mean 997.1 or 997.2?

The .1 is the same at the 997.2 GT3, that is, moulded into the decklid.

but the 997.2 GT3RS has cup like uprights.

If it is for a .2RS the mounting points are offset from one another and is also non-linear from top to bottom. A 2D paper template will not get you there.

Exactly that. Plenty have tried in the early days only to realize it's truly a 3D object, unlike the old (996/997.1) Cup wing uprights which are plain 2D.

.2 not looking for an exact copy more just the design and height and width. i can pound the aluminum into shape for the offset as i build them. i do appreciate the info
