I just had my 17K 7.1 pinned. Even though it has low miles the money was well-spent to eliminate the constant anxiety of thinking about what could happen.

I had them replace hoses, belts and pump since it was a small part of the overall cost with the engine out.

I need to pin/weld my coolant lines at some point, at which time I'll replace the h2O pump, too.
