Do love me some JDM

Car just prior to my ownership went in for total new end of bearings and center locks, I suspect one of these two versions must be a later version, just not sure which

The whole CL nut assembly was updated circa 2013 in PET. New part number 997.361.081.93 superseding .92

The conical ring itself is not individually order-able.

I would think the 3-piece design with a nut-side lube journal is an evolution to address the "inadequate lube" issue

It's interesting the rest of the assembly is identical though

You are losing seconds per lap by doing your wheel maintenance with those warehouse club paper towels. My dealer sells me the new, high performance Porsche paper towels. With the Porsche crest embossed into every sheet, carbon fiber center tube, and adjustable sheet breakaway for balanced handling, there is clearly a huge performance improvement over the junk you are using. Porsche paper towels are on sale right now at Suncoast for just $179.95 per roll - I would stock up if I were you, unless you want to be just another backmarker....

When the updated center locks came out did all owners receive a recall letter? My car was CPO'd and I assumed they were upgraded, will have to check-
or are owners supposed to pay for the upgraded ones? 😳

Porsche regularly updates the parts list and few of them constitute a "recall". Pretty sure there isn't a recall going on with CLs. Rather, it's updated maintenance procedures and service intervals...

So yes, pay to play.
