That was the issue on my car and it was a warped tunnel.

Adair, for the seat rub, fold a piece of black felt and jam that between the leather and tunnel. You can also use adhesive-backed velcro (felt side) on the tunnel but that runs the risk of leaving gooey residue on your carpet.

Are your seats the GT2 foldables, or the CGT full buckets? In the GT2 seats I've encountered a rattle coming off the seatback release leather loop. Full buckets don't and shouldn't rattle as there's nothing loose in there.

Can you isolate where the shifter buzz comes from, is it inside your shifter or from below? The shifter itself has four main parts and can be checked via disassembly.

The bucket seat rattle is when I hit bumps and the whole seat back vibrates..

The shifter buzz will stop if I grab the shifter itself...

I was just wonder if some of these were common...

Hey CRex,

Thanks for chiming in...

I considered your fabric fix. I am pretty convinced the tunnel piece is warped. If you run your hand down the side it's definitely bulged out some. Unless that's how its manufactured...

Yes, GT2 Carbon buckets. No rattle when someone is seated. Seems up high. I'll look at the seat back release.

Shifter buzz is metallic and speed related. Although that whole surround area is creaky but more plastic sounding. I'll need to dig in...

Thx.

Just lift off shift boot cover frame and drive it and see if buzz noise is gone. If so there's the culprit. Now these are stock shifter cables right not cupcar cables which does buzz. Mike

Will do! I believe they are stock shifter cables. Wouldn't necessarily know if they were Cup...

Thanks Mike..

Cup cables are blue vs the stock black cables. If cup cables not much you can do other than changing back to stock. Mike

FYI- my car was out of warranty but my dealer went to bat for me and got it covered under good will. The CF piece is $5k OEM IIRC!
