high level?

ceramic coating => attempts to prevent things from sticking to surface (paint, wheels, etc)

power coating => stick powder, to a surface

pretty much. ceramic is essentially a sacrificial layer that bonds to your paint. depending on the product applied, it will last for a certain amount of time (1-5yrs) and eventually need to be reapplied. it replaces the typical sealant + wax process when you detail your car. i think ceramic coatings are great, but i would not buy all the claims a lot of shops try to pitch

I shipped my 991 to Scottsdale for the Winter. Gonna try and make some days around there.
