Lime Rock Sound Limit
I've got a track day at Lime Rock coming up later this summer. It looks like they have an 88Db noise limit.
I've got a 997.2 GT2 and I'm running GMG Headers with 200 cell cats and a GMG center exhaust.
Has anyone had any experience with something similar passing or not passing sound at Lime Rock? Have you had to pull the vacuum lines to actuators?
I've done some searching and there's a lot of talk about sound but I can't find specific answers about Lime Rock and this approach. Or perhaps there are some parallels with Laguna Seca?
Thanks in advance.

88? ummm... do you have your side mufflers on still? How hard do they enforce?
At laguna, a 997 series GT car with all the stock mufflers, stock headers, and the solenoid pulled to allow the valves to stay closed all the time and the center muffler has turn-down/away pipes will pass at 92 (possibly slightly lower).
My car, with 100 cell cat cup headers, no side mufflers, stock center blows about 102 at thunder hill.
If they enforce I think you're going to have a tough time passing with your setup. BTW, the center bypass mufflers are actually louder than a side bypass setup at full throttle.

Not sure if your set-up will pass but they enforce the hell out of the restriction due to litigious neighbors. You might want to bring some down turns.....you'll get one black flag and one chance to rectify...if you violate......second black flag and your sent home......
I ran Brombacher x pipe with high flow cats....sounded great no problem ever...hope it helps

It's tough to tell if it's really 88 or 89 and if they enforce at these smaller track days.
I still have the side mufflers and I can easily pull the solenoid. beyond that I'm going to have to ask GMG to see if they have off the shelf turn downs.
It seems surprising to me that no one else is talking too much about it on the forums so maybe they're not splitting hairs there anymore. There are a ton of GT3s out there with similar set ups to this.
