Default Computer: 395 miles to go! Ain't Happnin'

2009 C2S 117K miles MT

I just got back from a 3K trip..... I passed gas, the computer denoted 395 miles until Fillup........ I never met Fillup, I have no idea who this guy is, and I never will 'cause I must have a leak in my gas tank.......

What is the highest mileage till Fillup your car told you? Ever met Fillup?

Ah..... back to useless minutea.....

Peace

Yes use the left stock and you can cycle through the various menues and it will tell you how far you have to go based on how much gas you have and driving habits

I try not to pass gas in the car even if Fillup is in the car and never when the wife is. The cabin filter doesnt work for this event in such a small cabin......even when the top is down

Only pass gas if you have the ventilated seat option. And don't forget to change the seat ventilation charcoal filters according to factory maintenance schedule. Only use filters with the "N" rating.

I've gotten over 400 miles a couple of times but at that point there was no way I was going to pass gas without Fillup.

Note: The 4s do have larger tanks than the 2s so Fillup doesn't come around the same way.

I've seen a combined range (remaining range + current trip) in excess of 850km (520 miles). The fuel light came on after 450km tho, so I think it's a little optimistic.

I think your car was dissing you and was implying that you could drive faster/more agressively

Actually if you fart on a ventilated seat it will just blow the fart back towards your face...

The ventilated seats were made for this. They suck the air in, rather than blow it out. You do need the N rated charcoal air purifying option on the back off the seat for this to be fully effective.

Hmm I see my internet humor has fallen flat again :-)

Though I must say tire pressure and miles to fillup are the only 2 functions in the trip computer that I ever actually use :-)

My understanding is the seat ventilation exhausts through a duct on the back side of the front seats. Whoever's crammed into the rear seat will bear the brunt of it
