What is this with oil on it...

I've been inspecting my 2007 C2S engine closely and i noticed this connector with oil on it. It is to the right of the starter about 6 to 8 inches. I'm guessing it has something to do with the AOS...maybe.

Maybe take a broader view and point an arrow at the part in a photo editor app, not much to go on here

Yes, 6-8 inches to the right of your starter is the AOS.
