Recently I had a tire going down while driving. The tire has a screw in the center of the tread. I was able to get to a tire store before it went flat. Glad I did not have to use the can of tire sealant. Has anyone used the sealant? Does it work? Does it cause any problems with the tire in the long run being inside the tire?

tire sealant will work but kills the TPMS sensor. That was my expensive mistake with it. Even the TPMS safe scrapped the unit.

dont use it unless you are stranded. it all has to be cleaned out. porsche replaces tires that have come in with sealant because it eats the rubber and they cant warrantee them further

Yes I used it, the goo is evil. No issue with the sensor.

I have used it and the hole was too big and it pissed white goo all over the tarmac. Discount Tire said the stuff will eat at the rim paint and corrode it. No bueno.
