Car # 1. I have located an interesting looking Atlas grey/black 2007, 997 with 62k miles, priced low, I think, at very firm $25k due to front bumper scrapes damaging the lower clips not all flush with wheel well liner. Center grill is missing, $150. Some orange peel re-spray paint on back bumper. Had mechanic check out the car, it is sound. Other minor cosmetic issues. The Atlas color, I am told by a dealer here in Maine is a "gorgeous like our Atlantic Ocean in winter". Pictures of this car and others on the net demonstrate Atlas has high variability. I like it when it best when looks dark blue. I like that it is not a common color. It is an up-charge color. Car #2 is 2006 with tan interior (one of my favorite combos) with about 83k miles. Dealer pictures look good inside and out. Have not sent a mechanic yet. Listed at 26,900. Opinions on buying oscillating, variable hews from reportedly (rennlist) blackish, to dark blue, to grey to some purple, Atlas car that needs some work, newer, less miles or more common but lovely, midnight blue/tan, a year older about 22k more miles. Any thots on this mixed topic appreciated. I am a Porsche newbie having tested a friends Boxter and 1985 911 Targa.

I was mostly concerned about the Atlas Gray Metallic color which is very weird if you view photos. Way too much variation buying sight unseen. I found youtube videos of Atlas Gray 911 was more helpful than still pictures. It is bit rough but I think I got a good deal at 25k.
Plus I found a thread on here compairing Atlas Gray and Meteor Gray. Most people really like the Atlas Gray.
