Default Advice on this 997 for sale for DE

I rather not rudely ask questions on someone's for sale thread but I'm curious about the car and the reliability for DE. I've owned all GT1 motor porsches and tried reading up some on the IMS issue. Would this car be a risky candidate for DE?? Can I do the IMS repair and insure I won't have the issue 100%? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Looks like it would be a fun somewhat disposable DE car. I'm trying to avoid tracking my GT2 and think something like this could be fun still. Thanks.

Is it a 997.2? If so you have absolutely no worries. 9A1
Than again I have a close friend that has a 997.1 IMS solution he uses at DE days and has NO problems, just a little oil burn? Normal with many cars.

2005 you will need to do the IMS fix and since it's not an "S" you will need to add a baffled oil pan. Figure $2500 for both and you'll have money left over.

Don't see it has IMS solution done.
Other than that it is a little high on mileage side not much concern.
You will need to upgrade the stock brakes on the vehicle. ( it is a non S )
And the other mods mentioned above.

For that price, if the engine ever went you could do an LS motor swap.. around 8-10k including a brand new ls376480 crate motor etc.

And honestly most IMS failures tend to be cars that aren't driven much. That one has 85k miles on it so it's probably fine. But I would replace it personally.
