I recently bought a QuickJack 5000 SLX to jack up my 997.1 Turbo. The QuickJack works fine

When I picked up the the QuickJack, I also took the SUV adapters to get some more heigh as I have seen photos of a 996 Turbo on the Rennlist forums doing more heigh with these adapers. While testing the QuickJack yesterday, I also tried to do this with my SUV adapters, but due to the movement of the QuickJack I couldn´t do it.
What I did: I jacked up my 997 Turbo and when beeing in highest position, I pushed old wheels from my VW underneath the Porsche wheels. But when going down again with the QuickJack, the VW wheels moved with the whole 997 Turbo ... Dunno how to describe it exactly in english ..

Any hints/tips? Jack up the 997 Turbo on JackStands/Ramps before and then working with the QuickJack? Thanks in advance!

you can always use ramps and lift you car onto them using the quick jack without SUV adapters. That should give you enough room to lower the quickjack to add the suv adapters.
