Default Gts 6MT

Been looking for a 996 TTS but saw this come up at a local Audi dealer and looks very nice. Going to drive it today.

http://www.audiconcord.com/used/Porsche/2011-Porsche-911-46ed01570a0e0a6b3b5b9d256699eea3.htm

doesnt list options on the website, but can see it has the full leather with sports seats. And is the RWD rather than AWD.

Any GtS experts out there have a view in price point for this? Also any known issues I should ask or look for in the records? Seems reasonable although assume from Audi no Warranty so will prob have a PPi from local porsche.

thanks for any advice.

That's a very nice GTS. I'm not familiar with the GTS market, but the price seems high to me. You can get a 997 TT for that money.

The 997 GTS is a very different car from the 996 TTS. I'd love to hear more about your thought process, as I wouldn't think too many people would be deciding between those two models.

Nice GTS there. For the mileage the price isn't too far off. I'd be trying to negotiate that down some, but the price is not too far from fair, at this point.

If you plan on leaving the 996 Turbo as stock, the performance of the two cars will likely be similar. If you were going to have the 996 tuned then you'd be able to get more performance from it. But, big difference in feel of the cars I'd imagine (not having driven a 996 Turbo)

Thanks for the replies. Car had sold this morning, so guess that speaks to the market. It was just listed yesterday so lasted a day.

Search goes on.

Nice car. Missing Bose, LSD, and leather dash (deal-breaker for me).

I missed out on 2 or 3 well equipped GTS like that. One of them I called at 9am the day it was listed and it had already been spoken for at 8:30am that same day. Pretty much a deal where you want to put a deposit against the car if you like it.

Man, I think I'm too OCD to keep those white wheels clean!

I have a friend that works at that dealership and he told me it went for $76k, just FYI for future reference.

$76k OTD to include Tax, Title, Tag? if that's the case then not bad at all...

Must have been a local buyer, they don't ship cars from Audi Concord.

I think some people are underestimating the prices for well kept, nice cars.

If you see a GTS at the lower end of the price range, that's when I would start worrying.
