Best place to source 997.1 aero or GT3 front bumper?
Hoping to tap the knowledge of all you OG rennlisters in my search for an aero or GT3 front bumper.
I've been deployed (US Navy) for the last 4 mos and have made the decision to change-up the OEM front bumper w/lip to an aero or GT3 front when I get back to San Diego next month. Have been looking online (Sonnen, Circle, Paramount, Pepe, Sunset) and the best prices I am seeing are in the low to mid $1300s, not including tax and shipping, for OEM aero.
Anyone have any secret squirrel hook ups for less?
Would also consider good condition used or quality aftermarket.
Thx for the help!

That's a screaming good deal. Make sure it's for the complete kit with all the little air ducts and stuff. Best price I've seen for the whole kit was $1495 (Suncoastparts.com)

You can always do a GT3tek front spoiler, or a 991 conversion spoiler (bout 300) and cut into your existing front to add the GT3 screen below the frunk hood. Theres a thread somewhere here by a gent, i believe in europe, who did that.

I got mine from a dealer in Southern California...price was about the same as what you're finding. It'll be hard to find anything cheaper as far as OEM goes. I personally wouldn't recommend aftermarket...unless it's from a company like TechArt or a company that specifically works with Porsche. The adage of "You get what you pay for" is very true with this situation. It's not a cheap undertaking, but you never have to worry about fitment issues with OEM. I had mine painted by a local shop that is the recommended shop by our local dealership and installed it myself. It's not difficult at all. It's amazing how easy it is with the OEM pieces.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up paying after bumper purchase and paint?

I think after shipping to Hawaii (which is astronomical for such a huge box), it was about $1900. Our only dealership here quoted me $2100 since it was a special order, so I saved a bit there. Paint was $700, but I also had a turbo rear decklid and spoiler painted as well. I would estimate $400 for the bumper, so total cost around $2300. Expensive, yes. Worth the smile on my face, hell yes.

Well according to multiple Porsche dealerships, there are no more aerokit front bumpers in stock in the US. And that the part is "discontinued." Crazy, but I suppose if significant demand is not there than it doesn't make sense to keep producing.
I just ordered the OEM aerokit bumper from the UK and surprisingly, the shipped price is cheaper than any price I could find in the US. Hopefully international shipping and duty doesn't throw me any curves. Fingers crossed.
