Default Leaky transmission help

Hi guys.
I'm new member and I just got my 2006 Porsche Carrera S last week. There was no service history so I dropped it at the Porsche dealership to perform 60,000 miles service.
Dealer found small leak but its not between trans and engine and it's not coming from pipes, they told me that they can't touch transmission to seal anything because Porsche doesn't allow them to do it. They can install new transmission for $35,000.
I leave in Orland Park, Illinois and I'm looking for a dissent shop which can take it apart, fix it or simply swap another used but good transmission.
Do anybody can recommend good place ?
Thank you.

$35K?!? This is exactly why dealerships get a bad rep. For that money you could buy a second 2006 C2S.

First thing you need to do is get a second opinion from an indy. I'm willing to bet the leak is something other than a transmission swap.

Sounds like a scam and they are trying to trick you into selling the car to them. A new manual or tip tranny is not 35000 dollars. You need to tell us more. Is it 3500 dollars? That's more like it.

Wait, are you sure its 35,000 and note 3,500? That makes no sense.

That's what the dealer said $35,000 for new transmission,
I know......,it's unbelievable.
I fount a few trans on eBay ftom low mileage cars for $3,500.
I know that the trans swap would be around $1,400.
I looking for good Indy shop in Chicago or south suburbs .
Do anybody can recommend smart mechanics who can find and fix leak ?
