Map Software update
I have a 2009 Boxster 987.2. I'd like to update the maps. I understand the latest version is 2016. A list of questions:
- I this the latest version? Will there be a 2017?
- PCM is version V1.47 and Navigation is 3.0. Does the PCM version also need updating? I think 2.2 is current for my vehicle.
- The dealer said I need a harddisk from Navteq. Navteq was purchased by HERE some years ago. (So much for being up-to-date.) Does anyone know if the update is a hard disk replacement, or if the maps that I could purchase from SunCoastParts will work?
