Default Tow hook front license plate holder

Alas, I need a front plate on my car. I want to get a screw into the tow hook hole kind of one, but there's several out there and every one of them has comments like, "flimsy" or "sticks out too far."

Anyone have a recommendation for one?

I like this one that another 997 in my parking garage has.

I have had this one for two years and love it- easy to remove and it's a quality product. Can't say enough good things about it.

I bought one (I don't recall which) 10 years ago, installed it on the front plate, and threw the whole kit and caboodle into the trunk. I figured if I'm pulled over I'd say, "Oh, officer, I took it off at the track and just forgot to reinstall it. Sorry; let's put it on right now." In 10 years, that has yet to happen, including the one time I was pulled over in a speed trap.

For Chicago, it's not about the driving around. It's all about the parking. They'll ticket you in a second without a plate on.

I have the moweraxl one leftover from when I sold my 997. As new condition. Happy to sell it. Make me an offer via message if interested.

US Millworks. Stellar quality, well thought out, and they send everything you could need with both black and stainless hardware. Even the packaging is top notch.

If you want a clean and centered look, I recommend the Skene license plate holder. It fits under the small lip above the center opening.

I have the rennline, and it sits with a low profile.

Slightly more expensive, but a really neat piece of engineering.

I have the Rennline. That's only because the dealer I bought it from had one on hand the day I bought the car. It gets the job done, isn't flimsy. Either way, there is no perfect front plate mount on there, as soon as a license plate is on the front, it ruins the car.

In Northern VA you can get pulled over (and I have been, several times) for no front plate. It's like a $150 ticket. That gets old real fast.

Agree...no reason to give probable cause for a stop.
