I'm trying to find an indy to do a ppi in the Hilton Head area. I've Googled all evening and have found nothing. I have a call in to Porsche of Hilton Head but I'd prefer an indy. Any suggestions? Thanks much.

You could do lots worse than Porsche Hilton Head in my experience. I've also heard good things about Karl Troy at European Road and Racing in North Charleston: (843) 747-1342.

The former service manager at Porsche Hilton Head, George de la Bruyere, is now at Bob Woodman Tires, Inc., 22 John Galt Rd., Beaufort, SC 29906, 843-524-8473. George is outstanding in my personal experience.

I used Autometrics in Charleston for a PPI about 6 months ago. They are on the south side of Charleston but still probably 2 hours from Hilton Head.

Wow! You know I called the area Porsche club and got the same referral. I spoke at length with George and he's doing my ppi tomorrow.

He told me he was with Porsche for 38 years so I'm thinking he might know his way around this 911.
