I actually think this looks pretty good, if you search through ebay there are a few sellers that have the same thing listed for 450$.

I am interested in getting this but since it is purely cosmetic I am going to wait until all other maint. is done and im looking to waste money. Hopefully it will still be available in a year lol.

what i don't get is why doesnt it follow the outline/shape of the led itself?

I believe its because it can be a direct fit without modifing the bumper?

no as i mean the pattern of the led DRL doesnt match the shape of the physical LED fog light itself.
