Check engine visit workshop
Took my 06 c2s into the shop to diagnose the check engine light. My mechanic scanned all system and it stated that it may have misfires intermittent in cylinder 6. He stated the car was running fine and reset the light but to keep an eye on it. Drove it home and no issues. This evening started her up and back pops the light.
Is there a way to reset? Car seems to run fine any advice would be appreciated. Has about 42k miles on it. Also a bit worried if I keep driving it with the light on.

You need a Durametric or the like to reset it yourself.
It happened to me on the odd occasion when I started it up just to pull it out of the garage without running it for a few minutes.
Now that I'm aware, no more quick on/offs with the ignition and doesn't happen anymore.

Just wondering if it's due to how you drive the car. I don't track it (would like to) but do drive it hard. Just wondering since myw stated it is a common issue, how often do u get it replaced. I have a cayenne where I have already replaced the coils 3 -4 times. It seems since the coils are relatively cheap that this is a known issue. Wondering what I can do about it to preserve it longer. Or just suck it up and not worry.

suck it up and don't worry.... the newer coil pack design is literally 30% larger imo, i believe they are made better to prevent it from cracking so easily as its a known issue. my first set of coilpacks were all badly cracked by 20km, literally 13k miles.
