Anyone change Oil Level Sender on a 997.2 9A1?
2009 C2S 110K miles
See my oil measurement issue thread here. https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...ent-issue.html
Changing this sender out look stupid easy...... three torx and an electrical plug. Can do it at the next oil change. Porsche part no: 948 606 150 00
Marc notes there is a calibration step at the dealer.... anyone know about this step? I posted a question on the PCA site about calibration of this sender and never got a response.
Cheap, $98 and a good story to tell....... maybe my next oil change. Oh, it sits right next to the oil drain plug in a pan recess and bolts in straight up with plug pointing forward..... stupid easy.
Peace

I got a response on RTech... Guy with a 2009 like mine and he said is was super easy and needed no calibration. His symptom was different than mine, he was getting no reading.
Obviously, with oil out, just three screws and an electrical plug......
