Default IMS scoring on my 2009 Carrera

So I got the bad news today from the dealer. My IMS bearing has scoring. Car is a 2009 Carrera. My path forward is yet to be determined... might need to replace the high pressure fuel pump, or maybe as bad as a full PDK swap. Any advice?

You too? My tiptronic transmission actually developed scoring on second gear this morning too. I might need to add a supercharger to it.

Did you try to rotate the air in the tires? Make sure to cross rotate the air.....it does wonders!

I've used Mobile I in all my cars and I've never had a scored IMS. That should end any oil debate.

You are close, but you need to remove the winter air, and add the summer air, that will take care of the problem.

As long as the bearing isn't scoring any 3-pointers, I think your fine.

Happened to me too. My mechanic said it was because I didn't change my blinker fluid regularly. I wound up having to replace the whole PDK.

gibbs-syntec 65w100 nonfiber oil + 1/4 gallon of unicorn semen will restore your engine back to oem health, says hartech. raby recommends 1/2 gallon of the secret sauce ....

See....I've been doing it wrong all these years! No wonder #7 spark plug is always fouled!
