Man, I just saw this today. Got about 25 minutes into it before my free time was up

 

I have in on DVD at home. Not as clean looking as this!

I truly enjoyed living in Europe and driving 911s. I got to do it with two of them, a 911S from the 1970s, and my 2006 Carrera S Cab. The intro section reminds me of the wonderful roads over there, particularly on a Sunday morning.

The first 4 minutes makes me want an air cooled 911.

Thanks for pointing out this film. I just finished watching it. I actually saw it when it came out years ago. I also got to see Steve McQueen at Riverside Raceway. He won the race with a 917. They rolled the car out and prepped it for McQueen. About 30 minutes before the race, McQueen flew his own Cessna mixmaster to the race track, landing at the track. Walked out of the airplane in his racing gear. Got into the 917, and dominated the race. Great guy and a great car. He loved Porsche.
