So, while I do enjoy the sound-sensation of the Fabspeed at WOT, it is sometimes (or would be) nice to, maybe on road trips with the Mrs. be a bit quieter. I also have a nice stereo system. I'm thinking, for me, I love the car as a DD and plan on living only once. In rural Georgia, we have no inspection or emissions test. My mechanic say's it's the Fabspeed X pipe not the intake air box that is most responsible for most of the LOUD. Having never driven a 997 with the stock setup, I can't say, but there seems to be plenty of mid range torque as well as the full on wail, especially compared to my old 964 with a 993 V-RAM motor swap. So, seems interesting the variations of preference among us. Just sayin'
