Hi All,
I have now had my 997.2 C4S PDK for 3 days and what a difference compared to my, now sold, 996 C4S Manual. So far I have just been driving around (with a huge grin on my face) not paying attention to anything but the sound and the feel of the car, until today when I decided to check things out in detail.
So,
First Question: I cannot find anywhere what option C07 means from the options list sticker found in the service book. Anyone knows? UPDATE: C07 means sold in Italy
Second Question: I have the sport chrono plus pack but I cannot for the life of me find the option on the main screen. In all fairness, I didn't activate/press either of the Sport or Sport Plus buttons so maybe this is why? Anyone?
Bonus questions:
1) For some strange reason the original owner did not chose to have cruise control fitted from the factory. Is this possible to have retro-fitted by Porsche and what would such a job cost (even if you have an US price it gives me a guide at least).
2) The garage door opening option is also an option I would consider having added. Same as above, something Porsche can retro-fit and what would it set me back (again US pricing fine as a guidance for me)?
3) I have the basic steering wheel (option code 841). What would the extended option command steering wheel set me back and is it retro-fittable (my PCM 3.0 is loaded with all options possible (DVD, Navigation, Bluetooth, Phone, Multi aux interface etc)? Is it worth it?

Cruise control can be retrofitted. I had it done on my ex-6GT3. I'll see if I can find my posting on it.
Found it. Here's what I wrote. But, please note, this was for a 996
Got the retrofit done at the dealer where I had bought the car a couple of years ago. From the repair order:
Parts:
1 996-613-219-10-EWC, Column switch assy
1 PNA-721-043-00-040, Repair set K - #9600
2 PNA-721-043-00-063, Repair set 03 - #960
10 999-513-007-40, Tie-wraps ($2.45 ea!!!, what a crock!!)
1 PNA-721-043-00-122, Electrical housing #960122
$343 in parts, $225 in labor
NOTES: Installed column switch, and fabricated wiring harness. Coded and verified operations
