I am not sure I have Before shots.
I will look.
I will post the after. I helps a little but the gap may be even more noticeable with the tires pushed out a bit.
7mm/15mm seem right.

Fellow RLers david, Wayne Smith, and comanche_699 are up your way in Marin. I'm down in Half Moon Bay, but join them often on drives. LMK if you'd like to join in.

Congrats on the purchase, and nice write up.
I'm fairly new to the H2O Porsche club with a .1 C4S I purchased last summer. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets terrible mileage.

I ask because just last weekend a new turbo-4 mustang tried to chase me down a very twisty mountain road; and I mean they were trying hard. It must have been terrifying in that thing.

Congrats! Great write up.
If you venture south there are a few 76' stations that have 100 octane you can mix with 91 to make 93. There's one in Redwood City that I frequent.
if I'm near Freemont I'll sometimes make the trip to Sunol (in sunol, ca) where they have a big selection of high octane.

I think the small gas tank also makes the car feel like more of a gas pig because of the more frequent stops to refill. The only good news is I can fill up the car from 1/4 tank to full for around $25.

If you want Blue Tooth integration.
I had the Desion 500SBT module installed in my 2006 Carrera S and now have Bluetooth phone through the factory radio. Had it installed by my local Porsche Dealer. (you can do it your self but felt more comfortable having it done)They charged me for 2 hours labour and did a very tidy instalation.
Works great unit is priced around $420.00 from Bumperplugs.com.

Congrats, it looks awesome. The 19s are a must and those are the rarer ones, looks so clean on a silver 997. I'm in SF too and I just picked up a 07 tiptronic base last week from a dealer in Sacramento. I agree with all of your points. The car is awesome! Nice that you got a dark interior. Mine is beige and I can see chips and flaws from a mile away.
Few suggestions for upgrades:
1. I just installed DEPO LED tail lights. This really updates the rear end big time both during day and night. It's super easy to install yourself.
2. I just picked my car up today after installing Eibach springs. This gives a ride height just slightly lower than an S PASM. It drastically changes the look and I actually think it rides better than my factory springs. If you do just spacers, it won't close the wheel gap. Unfortunately it may even make it more noticeable as you'll have the aggressive offset without the aggressive/sporty ride height.

@Jaskfri - sounds like fun! I debated a bucket list trip driving it home 2k miles...but then came to my senses.
@dannysf - thanks for the info! How much did the Einbach springs and install run you? Where did you get them in the city? I was planning on doing those next year. My biggest concern is my driveway clearance.
Where did you pickup the DEPO LED taillights? I am actually looking for a replacement option for my fog lights and Suncoast was way too expensive. The plastic housing is a little hazy on mine (lesson #34 - i read this was likely from someone trying to polish them and stripping the UV film off it.)
