Would you be interested in a hybrid 911?

The nostalgia is strong in this thread that is dedicated to cars aged younger than puberty.
I say to hell with hybrids.
If Ferri were alive today he could still have his weight over the drive wheels, low to the ground, in a minimalist design that is as elegant as practically possible. OK, they still make the impractical for elegance's sake.
Today that is 4 electric motors and a sub-frame of battery mass.
Forgive them Ferri, they know not what they say.
Man want go fast, comma period!

If anybody could make a proper hybrid sports car it's Porsche. Infact they already have... look at the 918! The electric motor would add extra torque... and reduce fuel economy during regular city driving.
Cars change... the world progresses... I think this is a logical next step. I doubt they'd make a hybrid only 911... it'll probably just be another powertrain OPTION.

I know progress is inevitable and electric/hybrid sports cars are the future and they do perform better. I guess I just personally cannot get over what I think a car should feel/sound/smell like.
just a car that simply goes fast with fake noise will not do it for me.
