I want to replace the engine mounts on my 2006 911S Cab before I take it out this spring (55,000 miles) and I see conflicting information on the part number. It seems there is a different part number for the Cab mount than for the Coupe on some vendor sites, not not on others. It seems odd, but who knows. I thought I'd ask the brain trust on rennlist.

Has anyone with an '06 S cab changed these, and if so what did you use? I've seen some posts on aftermarket mounts and wondered if people have strong opinions on which way to go? I won't track my car but I drive it regularly.

The dealer has quoted $680/pr plus installation. The DIYs on here make it look simple enough, I just need the right part.

 

Looks like $240 to $480 per pair on Pelican Parts. Never heard of different mounts for cab or coupe. I've got an 06 Cab (C2S)
