996.2 GT3 wing on 997.1 widebody?
Is there an easy option to putting the 996.2 GT3 wing onto a 997.1 C4? Thinking about adding aero for track work (and of course this means I need a front lip to balance it) and this is, IMO, the most attractive aero option fitted to a water cooled 911.
I can't seem to find any 997s with one of these anywhere!

Just about any thing can be done and if you already have a wing it may be cost effective to do so. Both Wicked and Getty have GT3 wings for the 997.1-.2. Both will require some air box, fresh air ducting, fan and wiring adjustments/modifications. A bud just installed a Wicked GT3 wing on his 2012 Turbo S. WOW

I think the 997 aero kit is deeply unattractive. If that's my only option, clearly, the function is more important than the form. Otherwise, I'd rather choose something I think is appealing.
I checked Getty and Misha didn't see quite what I was looking for. I checked Wicked and I don't see anything there, either.
Thanks for the tips, though. I appreciate it! It was worth asking the hive

Funny, I see the rear 996gt3 rear deck lid looking so cheap, no flow, looks like after thought and bit like a flat piece of wood balancing on two uprights...fitting for a 996 with those head lamps though Joke as do like 996 cars...
I bet ghetty would make one for you possibly?
Long shot, and you may not like the design but if you can find a 997tt "aero package" rear deck lid... believe that's a bolt on. Also less hassle then the stock 997tt rear deck lid to add to a none turbo car given has no Hydraulic wing blade so less intruding into engine bay/stock air box... finding one will be the issue.

what about this? Looks closer to a 996gt3 design vs the 997 factory aero you mentioned you didnt like... the wing blades I believe are detachable. Some filler before paint and their is your 996gt3 style like wing...
