Got some work done
Hello all,
I drive an 05 997.1S, my car currently had Cargraphic rims & Cargraphic exhaust when I bought it. I added the GT3 SSK, GT3 throttle body & Plenium and APR software and H&R springs. Last week I had to have the clutch & flywheel replaced and while it was in the shop I added the Cargraphic 200 cell x-pipe cats & the Fabspeed Competition Intake. I love the new sound after the install of the new parts. If you are on the fence about adding the cats or intake my vote would be to do it.

I'll find out in a few days, just giving the clutch some sort of break in period before I romp on it. I'm sure there will be some noticeable gains.

3 Years ago I took my 930 to get smog checked and left the Zork tube on it (Zorks are a straight tubes mounted on the turbo that dump straight to atmosphere... no muffler... no cats).
It passed visual and just barely failed the dyno run. I'm finding at least in my area, smog shops really don't pay attention to visual.

I was surprised to not see headers in your build, given the rest of it. It certainly seems like the stock S exhaust manifolds are much more restrictive than the fabspeed headers that I just installed. I have to imagine that it would improve your performance (flow) given the intake and exhaust mods you've got now.
Other than the big difference in looks (pipe size particularly middle of the 3), I can't tell you much from my experience since I'm stuill working on some exhaust leaks and also - bc I only have the headers and don't have any of the other mods that you have.

Very happy to see you are enjoying the intake! It is one of the most popular products we've ever developed, and the sound once your crest 4500rpm is just intoxicating haha. Installation looks great, and will be sure to catch some attention when you pop it open

Yes I am very proud of it, and you are right when I romp on it the engine really comes alive. If there is anyone out there sitting on the fence considering adding it to your Pcar you need to believe that you are making a great buying decision. Every time I get out of the car I want to open up the back so everyone can admire it.
