Drive 'em if you got 'em!

Drove mine in the rain Friday, through some muddy roads to get to work. Made a mess! Fortunately, it warmed up to almost 70F (unusual in Missouri in January) on Saturday so I washed it. I don't think I got all of the mud off, but it's 95% better! (Photo below was taken just before the bath)

Here's my 2010 C4S Cab sporting my winter wheel set (Pirelli Sottozero's on .1 Turbo rims) ... this has been my DD in ALL weather conditions (short of hail) for the last 3 years here in Chicago. It seems the dirtier it gets the happier it seems

Great pics of the cars everyone! I live in Illinois, and the 911 is my daily. With winter tires the car actually does better than expected (997.2S). It is priceless to see the SUV drivers stare as I drive by in the snow. 77,200 miles and runs like a top (knock on wood). I don't blame the owners who park their cars for the winter, it would be nice. But I told myself when I bought it, that if I am lucky enough to own this iconic car then I will drive the wheels off of it. I will include a pic of it cleaned up just for grins.

Just took my 2011 4S back out in southeast Michigan. With the 4 Pirelli winters, looking forward to driving it. I just avoid the salt days as I have a DD that will take the abuse.

definitely a driver here. couldn't imagine putting my car away for the winter no matter where I lived. even all the way up in the northern territories. now I've moved to where its a non-issue but that aside, lived plenty in heavy snow areas and just couldn't put it away. perhaps if it were a GT3 RS 4.0!

Love this thread. I dd my car and it gets dirty and sometimes its dirty for a week or two, or three. Some people comment that they cannot believe I let my P car get dirty. I tell them well its a car and I like to drive it and it gets dirty.
My wife was runs a catering company and some of her clients are very wealthy. She was at a client's home with the women of the house in her garage and a 911 was sitting all pretty in the garage. My wife mentioned how nice the car was and that I had a 911 as well. The women stated that her husband loves the car, but never drives it. She also stated that all he does it look at it, talk about it, and clean it. My wife stated, oh no my husband always drives his and most of the time it looks like he never washes it.
#GetOutAndDrive people. You will be surprised how much fun our cars are.

I actually rode the motorcycle in to work the other day as I needed some fresh air. Got caught in the rain and mud without my rain gear. I left the bike that way as I thought it looked glorious.
Obviously, I draw the line on motorcycle riding when there is ice but will ride in anything short of that.

No garage queen here. Daily driven, thru mud, snow and with no regrets.
