So passenger seat plugged right in. Driver's side tho has an extra module on the 997.2 that is not on the 997.1 seat, so it won't plug in.

My car had regular comfort seats all electric with memory. Thought these would plug right in.

Any idea how to get them to work or am I SOL? Help seats and car are at shop right now!

 

Well Yellow connector plugs in. Black connector is homeless due to missing module.
apparently there's a control module on the driver's side with an extra plug in that controls the seat motors on the 997.2. This module does not exist on the 997.1 so there's no place to plug in and therefore no power.

They are going to try and repin it so we can get power but I'm not hopeful. Bummer.

If anyone has any info on this module and what it does or how to bypass it that would help!

 

Have you tried operating the seats as is? Perhaps they will operate properly.

Well I guess he got them working, but without memory or heated functionality. Grrrrr. I can live without memory but reaaaaally wanted the heat. :-(

 

sorry to revive, and this might be a dumb question.. but do the seat airbags still work if no memory or heated function?

many idea how he got them working? Where did he plug in the homeless wire?
