Max Jax Owners
I purschased and installed a Danmar Max Jax this weekend. I torqued the bolts securing the baseplate to the floor to 95 lbs.
I would like to say I did something worthy with the lift, however I just used it to raise the car so I could compound and wax without bending over. (Brake job will happen next weekend).
Anyway, after lowering the car I checked all the bolts , about 4 put of the 10 were at about 45 lbs. had to be retorqued. In my simple mind I am guessing that the ianchor moved up?

Assuming your level (no lateral torque on the main frame) not unusual to loose a little. I installed one a few weeks back, like it a lot!!

I find the loosening of the bolts normal. I check mine periodically. And have to agree...the lift is not only a time saver but a money saver as well. You will start to realize you can dig deeper into the DIYs.....I have dropped and re-installed the motor from my 996, done suspension upgrades, brake maintenance and several oil changes. Money well spent.
