No black., gold! Gold goes much better with blue. I seriously think a nice dark burnished gold/ bronze would be the thing to do.

My 911 is midnight blue...in terms of Quicksilver's comment about blue and gold/bronze, I already have the material to plasti-dip my silver summer aftermarket wheels bronze over the winter! Give's me something to look forward to and have fun experimenting with different looks...sorta like a chick (no offense) dying her hair a different color. (Sorry to jack the thread, OP.)

It's QuiverKiller, but anyway....

Not blue, and not a 911, but this is my S4 with the wheels plasti-dipped gold. I really liked it.

Agree with many here, black wheels on a dark car gets lost, its just a lump with very little defined lines. I knew a guy that just got a 991 in black and has black wheels. With the wheel wells, trim, tires, paint and everything black, it just looks like a black mass. I know this is personal taste, but since we are discussing it, I just thought I would jump in.

I would stay with silver, hypersilver or maybe a light gunmetal

Yea, I've decided no black. I do like the silver I have now. But wow!! Those gold wheels on the Audi look great! Maybe someday I'll change it up.

Great. I don't think black and blue work together. It's all about a bit of contrast.

Your car looks to be a similar color as my Midnight Blue Metallic. Personally, I really don't like black wheels on a dark blue car. I agree with the poster that said they disappear against the black tire and wheel well. If I've got nice wheels, I want them to stand out - in a good way.

I think the pic above with the silver vs. black wheels illustrates the difference.
