Hi all. I just had my 997.1 detailed. when I got home I noticed that one of the headlight washers was pushed down. I was curious how hard of a fix this is? It seems as if you'd go through the inner wheel well take it out and reinstall through the top. Is this correct or is there an easier or correct way to do it?
Thanks in advance

Sounds like a pretty rough detailing, I might check to see if where it mounts has been snapped off first.

Take a photo so that we can see what you're dealing with.
I installed paint to match nozzle covers on my car several years ago. Check out that thread and you may get some tips on how to grab that thing.

It is actually an easy fix on a 997.1.
Follow the instructions in the manual for removing the turn signal assembly. If you don't have the special card they provide in the leather manual booklet for this, you can do it with a credit card or two (thicker than just a normal one helps). Point any raised numbers away from the paint, or avoid a card with raised numbers altogether if possible. On my .1 I had to sometimes push in on the inner side of the light a little (near the release) to get it to release and pop out. You are basically trying to release a simple plastic tab (shaped like a stubby-topped 7) that holds the light against the opening in the bumper.
Once that is out, you can see the bottom part of the assembly for the washer pop-up. There is enough room to reach in and snap it back into position if your hands aren't too large.
