Default Ordered 997.2 FVD Street Sport Exhaust

After carefully [read: impulsive] consideration between various exhaust options to wake up the sound of my incoming 2011 C4S, including the Gundo mod, I've decided to order the following from Germany:

http://www.fvd.net/us/en/Porsche-0/928S4-146-30/-/2011/item/item_details/VID_35086905-VCD_89214573-gid_134-sort_4-display_50-item_BES99729000S/Motorsports_-_Exhaust_BES99729000S_Street-Sport_Muffler__997.2_09-__`Brombacher`.html

Below is a sound clip of the exhaust. The woman I spoke with at FVD warned that the street sport (non pdk) is loud. Since this is not a daily driver, I felt it was worth taking the risk. I also didn't see a lot of other people out there with this exhaust. There are some with the PDK version, but not the sport.

I'll report back with sound clips and pics once it arrives in a few weeks.

Great choice. You're going to love it. I have the same system on my 09 PDK (even though it is not recommended for PDK vehicles).
The audio clip you posted is extremely accurate. I get people coming up to me all the time asking about the exhaust, because it has such a pure sound to it.
I also posted a few audio clips of the interior sound (at varying revs) here:

It is definitely loud if you are on full throttle. However even mild acceleration around 3-5k RPM is an incredible sound - without being obnoxious.
The good news is that if you want to cruise quietly on a long highway drive, it is actually pretty tame in 6th gear at 2k or 2.5k RPM.

Thanks for the feedback. Most of that is what I assumed based on the audio clip and description, but I appreciate the validation. It also helps build excitement for me.

When I had my 981 Cayman S with PSE, I had it in "loud" mode 99% of the time, and still wished it was a bit louder. I don't want to be the obnoxious exhaust guy, but a strong exhaust note really adds to the driving experience for me.
