Everyday Driver 911 video, they grossly under rate the 997. Kind of sad

Does anyone even care what the opinion of a video producer has on the 997? If you own one, that's enough evidence that it's a great car! Put your computer in SLEEP, and go to the garage with your key, and start the engine, and drive!

Who cares what some guys on the internet say about your car? I know that everyone wants to feel like they chose the best car, but does it really matter? And why do people feel the need to bash cars or owners who choose cars that are different? It’s silly. I loved my 996, my 997, and my 991. They are all great cars. Personally, I like my 991 better than my 997. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t love my 997. I have nothing bad to say about the 997. Does this somehow make me less of an enthusiast? I think not. If someone loves the 997 and thinks that it’s the ultimate Porsche, that’s awesome! Get out and drive it and don’t worry about what people think.
I didn’t watch the video once I read comments about people paying for it. There’s enough free content out there for me.

I've watched the video before. As an owner of a 993 C2 as well as recently becoming an owner as well of a 997.2 C2S, I was happy that they rated the 993s as high as they did because from an engagement point of view, my 993 is much more engaging to drive. But without a doubt the 997 is the faster car and the 997 turns better than the 993. Don't get too hung up on this video. How can you compare all 911s without some sort of bias. You know what they say "What's the best 911? ... The newest one" and the 997s are no longer the newest 911s on the block. It won't be long before the 992s will be putting the 991s in their place and I suspect 997s will always be liked because not only do they look great, but they are the last of the analog steering 911s. With all that said, the 993s will always be loved because they are the last of the air cooled 911s and are more engaging to drive even if they are slower than 997s, 991s and the soon to be new 992s.
