Default Broke this coolant male to male plastic connector

hi guys,
while trying to replace the serpentine belt on 997.1, I broke this male to male connector which connects two rubber coolant hoses together. When it broke green coolant gushed out. I'm not sure what this connector is called but I have highlighted it on the picture. Gonna get this part from Porsche dealer.
1. Can someone please name this part?

2. any gotchas when I'm trying to refill the coolant?

I think that might be a power steering hose and not part of the coolant system.

You can find parts diagrams for many Porsche models, including the 997 (that include part numbers) on Autoatlanta.com's website. Idda attached a link here but am technology challenged. Down load it, book mark it and keep for future reference. I have, and refer to it often.

PS "Atta boy" for the DIY. Don't let this little setback discourage you!

thanks for the pointer batman33. found the part on autoatlanta and checked with dealer - going to pick it up today.
internet is what is going my car going

this part is part of crankcase bleeding (see item 17 on the image).

worried about the air bubbles in the coolant. any ideas how to fill the coolant so I can take care of bubbles?

First question - You sure your coolant is green? Porsche coolant is usually pink.

To bleed the system (if you don't have the uview) just add coolant and run with the bleeding valve open until up to temp a few times. It's the spring thing on the expansion tank

Mzsaad: You're welcome. Glad to help. I second dgjks6's question. Granted I am an amateur, but I wouldn't have expected coolant to be in the same system as crankcase vent/oil-air separator. Hopefully somebody can and will confirm that notion or set us straight.
