Yes, if you don't have X51 then you can add this:

Methinks you didn't read the first post very well.

Not a big solution, but many have had luck with reducing water temps by using "water wetter".

Man....that's pretty high for both oil and water...especially with the 3rd rad. The oil life has got to be shortened with those temps. I added the 3rd rad and my oil temp never got above 240. Are you rads clean? Or missing any duct work? Or.....not to turn this into a oil thread but, what weight oil are you running on the track?

I recently pulled off the front bumper to do some other maintenance. I used that opportunity to clean out between the radiators and condensers. I was surprised how much crap was between the two units on each side. If yours a re clogged with junk the radiators wouldn't be getting cool air. Only way to check is to pull the bumper.

I register similar oil temps. Maybe 270. I was on track a week and a half ago and the temp was maybe upper 80's with decent amount of humidity. Seems fine to me.

I don't have a 3rd radiator on a 997.2S PDK. I also run 5w-50 Mobil 1. Last oil change was May 2016, ~9 track days since.

My rads are clean and I have home made rad grills.

Water pump good? All impellers intact?
Clean out front radiator (pull bumper).
Are you runing coolant, or straight water with water wetter?

Maybe Porsche needs to wrap a Cool Shirt system around the 9A1 engine..... or try driving slower.....

I saw the other comments in the DE sections and there are some nice suggestions prob better than the ones I mentioned above.

Is there a bigger/better trans cooler available for the PDK?

Like yours, my oil temp gauge pretty quickly rises to the 275 area on track. Coolant temp never moves much off 175. My Solo DL is connected via CAN to the DME. Oil and coolant temps are logged by the DL. The DME oil temp never goes above 252 on the hottest Central Florida days. Which are hot. DME coolant temps peak at 220 on the very hottest days but are typically in the 210-215 range. If the gauge value of either of them ever rises into the red area I would take immediate action (get off track and cool down) but I pretty much ignore them otherwise and make decisions based on info from the Solo.

You can add an auxiliary tranny/diff cooler and pump. I have BGB's on mine. The clutches / hydraulic fluid is what adds to the coolant load though and I haven't been able to find a biggeor more efficient alternative to stock. There's not a lot of room where the stock one is located and remotely mounting an aux or larger one means you now have to move the clutch fluid out of the PDK to and from the cooler. The folks I've asked about it say the clutch fluid change process is complicated enough as it is (PIWIS, etc) and the cost of getting it wrong could be replacing the PDK so no joy. Maybe this will change as there are more and more PDKs on these days.

Only other thing would be to replace the OEM radiators with aftermarket units that claim more efficiency - it can get pricey and I have not seen any reports from people who have done it so you are laying faith the claims of the manufacturers...

You guys run your cars at 275/280F? I'd pit before I hit 250F. I've never seen more than 230F on track but I'm in Canada.
