Default Tire size

Has anyone put 295/35/19's and 235/40/19's on a 997.1?

Note: 35 vs 30 and 40 vs 35.

If so did they rub? How far off did they throw the speedo?

This will answer most or your questions.

I think you should try and match your stock wheel overall dia's to not throwoff your speedo too much.

Thanks 19. I have been on the site. It does help but doesn't give first hand experience with regard to potential rubbing. I will probably get new tires and put the ones I have up for sale. They are Michelin PSS in very nice condition.

I have 295/35/18's and 235/40/18's with no rubbing issues on my 997.1
Im sure someone on here will have your setup and can let you know.

What offsets and weel width do you have with those tires? I'm thinking of going to 18" wheels and I'm considering the exact same sizes you have.

That's correct for 18s - he's asking about those aspect ratios on 19s. I wouldn't do it - they're too tall.

Well I decide not to risk it so am getting new, proper sized PSS's installed as I write. I will have some very nice 235/40/19's and 295/35/19's for sale if anyone is interested. Aslo, a near -perfect set of chrome lobster fork wheels.
